Community & Events Fundraising Officer

to join our growing Fundraising Team.


This is a unique opportunity to shape a national community fundraising programme and help deliver vital income that transforms the lives of thousands of children and families across the UK.



About the Role




In this pivotal role, you will support the

Head of Corporate & Community Partnerships

to transform and grow community and events fundraising, aligned with Newlife's strategic goals.


You will lead the development and delivery of national community fundraising campaigns, digital fundraising initiatives, and volunteer-led events. Your work will be instrumental in creating innovative fundraising experiences, building long-lasting supporter relationships, and significantly increasing community income.



Key Responsibilities



Deliver and develop Newlife's national community fundraising and events portfolio. Design and execute multi-channel marketing and supporter stewardship plans to drive engagement and income. Identify, recruit and manage fundraising volunteers and community partners. Build strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to embed a positive income generation culture. Manage a pipeline of community fundraising prospects to achieve KPIs and income targets. Monitor budgets, analyse performance, and report regularly to senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising codes and data protection regulations.


What We're Looking For



Experience & Knowledge



Proven experience in community and digital fundraising. Track record in strategic planning and delivering against income targets. Experience managing supporter pipelines and delivering exceptional donor stewardship. Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Raiser's Edge NXT). Knowledge of marketing, data segmentation and performance reporting.

Skills & Attributes



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Creative, proactive and resilient approach to challenges. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams. Empathy with Newlife's mission and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Other Requirements



Car driver/owner (national travel required). Understanding of fundraising compliance and relevant legislation. Flexible with availability for some evening and weekend working.
