The Post
Business Administrator level 3 Apprenticeship working in the Adult Social care, commissioning, contracting and market management team.
This role will help to support services within Adult care that provide assistance to Brent residents.
Key functionalities

• Ensure that individual services are brokered in a timely manner, and that necessary IT systems information requirements are maintained to ensure that other processes such as client charging and billing; provider invoicing and contract monitoring can be maintained.
• Respond to day to day concerns raised about the brokerage of services and/or the quality of services and that they direct enquiries to the relevant teams where further action is required.
• Regular liaison will with case workers within the department.
• Day to day liaison with care and service providers.

The Person
No experience is necessary as this is a training role, however, an understanding of the role is advantageous.
Keen to learn, you will demonstrate good communication skills, an understanding of good customer service, team work and an interest in developing a career in business administration.
You will also need to show your interest in local government and the delivery of public services. We will also be looking for a flexible and positive approach to work.

Qualifications required
English and Maths level 2 is desirable, but not essential and can be added as part of the apprenticeship training. However, the employer can choose to remove this requirement dependant on the candidate.
Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
Do not apply if are currently completing or have completed a similar course at level 3.

Simultaneously undertaking a comprehensive study programme towards the Level 3 apprenticeship. You will gain valuable knowledge and skills which will be an asset to the council and your career. Our apprenticeship scheme offers significant assistance with training and provides the opportunity to improve skills for future career opportunities.
Please note there is an end point assessment at the end of this apprenticeship, which is carried out by an external assessor and will include: A knowledge test, a Portfolio based interview and a Project presentation.
