13.21/hour (weekdays) plus weekend enhancements

About the Role



As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll provide one-to-one care and support to people in their own homes across Barnsley and nearby areas.

You'll support multiple clients throughout your shift -- a mix of single calls and double-up calls with another carer.

Your responsibilities will include:



Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition Medication support Mobility assistance and safe moving & handling PEG feeding (if trained) Supporting clients with dementia, end-of-life care, or complex needs Recording clear and accurate notes using our app-based system Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in everything you do

What You'll Need



You must drive and have access to your own vehicle during shifts Must hold appropriate business car insurance At least 6 months' paid care experience (domiciliary, care home, or hospital) Two references (one from your most recent employer) Excellent English communication (spoken, written, and reading) A caring, professional attitude and ability to work independently Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer sponsorships
