Norwa Care are urgently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Assistants to join our team based in Norwich and surrounding areas !

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a home care or care home settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times !

This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while being attentive to the needs of our clients.

MUST BE A DRIVER AND HAVE ACCESS TO TRANSPORT

Pay is weekly staring from 12.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans and monitor their progress. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols. Document client care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with organisational policies. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is essential Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. Ability to work as a part of a team and on your own !
