Job Advert: Care Assistant (Weekend Role)

Derbyshire & Leicestershire

Hours:

14 hours per weekend (Saturday: 10 hours, Sunday: 4 hours)

About the Role:

AHP Homecare is currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to support a young adult in their home over the weekend. The successful candidate will provide essential personal care, assist with food preparation, and engage in social activities. This rewarding role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the service user.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming) Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Encourage and support social interactions and activities Safely drive the service user's minivan to appointments or social activities Help with light household tasks as needed

Requirements:

Must be able to drive and hold a valid driver's license Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential Caring, compassionate, and patient with a genuine passion for making a difference Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-20.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
