We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or community settings, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and providing companionship to clients, particularly those with specific needs such as dementia care.
Duties
Deliver personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities & conversations to enhance their well-being.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to management.
Chaperone clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
About you
Experience & Attitude:
A strong desire to help and care for others is essential. Previous experience in a care role, such as nursing home or home care setting, is preferred but not essential.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Driving License and Vehicle:
A full and clean driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
Right to Work in the UK:
