We cover Liskeard, Looe and surrounding areas.

We prefer to cluster our clients so staff work in one area per shift to save you travelling.

Supporting with personal care, meal preparation, medication monitoring, shopping trips, domestic duties, day sits and live in care.

Salary

: 12.60-13.60 per hour + Travel Time @ 12.60 and Mileage @ 45p. Enhanced rate for weekends. (we can also offer rolled holiday hours) Hours are flexible to suit your home life but we do require at least one evening and every other weekend working.

Summary



As a Community Care Worker, you will be essential in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living and home care. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, your role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for all individuals through personalised care. Your core skills in care experience, along with premium skills in client care and dementia care, will be vital in delivering effective support. Strong communication skills are essential for communicating with families and healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Responsibilities



Provide compassionate care and support to clients in various settings. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Even just a walk and ice cream on the beach. Monitor and document clients' health and behaviour, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Maintain a safe and clean environment while ensuring clients' comfort and dignity. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to foster a supportive care network.

Expected hours: 16 - 37.5 per week
