Support worker

Do you remember when we were little, and our teachers asked us all what we wanted to be when we grew up?

Did you write:

I want to be a doctor or a nurse!

We will need our superheroes to help with prompting medications and ringing up for appointments

I want to be a teacher!

We will need our superheroes to be a huge encouragement deliverer. They will need to provide oodles of support to our service users so they can get back on their feet, or regain skills to live as independently as possible

I want to be a racing driver!

We will need our superheroes to have a car to zoom (adhering to speed limits) between our service users' homes

I want to be a chef!

Well we don't need super hero chefs, but we do need our superheroes to have basic cooking skills to ensure our service users can request the meals they enjoy

I want to be a hairdresser/beauty therapist!

We need our superheroes to be comfortable providing excellent personal care, including assisting with bathing, combing hair and maybe painting nails

I want to be an astronaut!

{Alright we might be pushing the shuttle out here but bear with me :D} We might not get to actual outer space, but we will want you to reach for the stars! We welcome superheroes with big ideas and career aspirations. 75% of our management staff started working as superhero support workers and have trained with the support of the company

We also strive to make our service users 'OVER THE MOON' with the support they receive every single visit!

Main duties will include:

Requirements:

Our shifts are 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10.30pm, and you must be able to do a mixture of the two shifts, or just the evening shifts. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle whilst on shift is essential Availability to work alternate weekends is essential!
