Job Information:

Country Carers is a domiciliary care company and is looking to recruit community carers, especially for evening and weekend positions. Our role is to assist our Service Users with personal and domestic care to help them remain independent and supported in their own homes. The main Office is based in Rye, however we cover a large radius with Service Users. Areas covered are Rye, Iden, Peasmarsh, Northiam, Beckley, Brede, Udimore, Winchelsea, Fairlight, Pett, and others

Main duties will include:

To maintain high standards of care in the Community, providing support, comfort and companionship, encouraging independence. Help Service Users meet their health and social care needs. This can include assisting with personal hygiene, domestic duties and social trips. Support Service Users with medication, following individual care plans and ensuring continuity of care. Ensure that the rights of the Service Users we support are always protected and respected. To be fully cognisant of the ongoing commitment to Care by following company policies and procedures maintain detailed clients notes.

Hours:

We have situations vacant for full time, part time, evening and weekends. We try to be as flexible as possible.

Salary:

Competitive rates of pay.

Monday - Friday 13 per hour. Saturday - Sunday 14 per hour.

Plus 35p per mile from your home to last call.

Essential Criteria:

You must have the right to work in the UK. A full clean driving license and use of own vehicle. You must have a kind and caring nature. You must be available to work every other weekend. You must be able to communicate well with others. You must be able to work well on your own or as part of a team. You must be willing to participate in mandatory training, supervisions, appraisals and staff meetings.
