We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or community settings, ensuring their wellbeing and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with clients who may require assistance due to age, illness, or disability, and your contributions will be vital in helping them maintain independence and dignity.
You must have a uk driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
Drive clients to appointments or community events as needed.
Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to relevant healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas:
Dementia care
Home care
Patient care
A background in nursing or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. We value a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
