Weekend Community Care Worker for Whitstable and Herne Bay.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Community Care Workers to join our weekend care team. You will be supporting individuals in their own homes to help them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. This role involves providing personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance in line with each person's individual care plan.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.

Support service users with mobility, medication prompts, meal preparation, and light domestic tasks.

Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote well-being.

Maintain accurate and timely records of care delivered.

Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and other professionals.

Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality procedures.

Work independently and as part of a supportive care team.

Requirements

Must hold a current full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential--training will be provided.

Ability to work alone confidently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of care.

Must be available to work weekends

We have flexible hours daily to suit, so not set in stone. So position could suit candidate that can fulfil all or a portion of shifts we have. Business hours run from approx 7am to 9:30pm with down time during day, so there are hours available to suit most candidates.
