Evening & Weekend Community Care Worker - Honiton, Dunkeswell & Surrounds

Salary Potential:

Up to 26,000 per year (pro-rata for part-time)

Pay Model:

Paid for your ENTIRE shift (including travel & gaps, NOT just per visit)

Mileage:

45p per mile travel allowance

Schedule:

Evenings & weekends (minimum 3+ shifts per week)

Location:

Dunkeswell & surrounding towns/villages

Essential:

Full UK Driving Licence & reliable vehicle

We urgently need kind, dependable individuals to support clients in and around Dunkeswell. Many of our clients live in isolated rural areas and rely on us for care, connection, dignity, and companionship when standard services are closed.

The Role: A Lifeline During Essential Hours

You'll deliver person-centred care that helps people remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Your daily impact includes:

Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Meal preparation, hydration support, and medication assistance Companionship and mobility help Light household tasks (tidying, changing linens) Logging visits easily using our Beehive Care app

Shifts Tailored to Evenings & Weekends

Primary Focus:

Evening & weekend shifts (critical cover required)

Commitment:

Minimum of 3+ evening or weekend shifts per week

Flexibility:

Hours tailored to your availability

Extra Earning:

Optional extra shifts available via our Click to Care app

Note:

Full-time hours may be available if daytime shifts can also be covered

What You'll Need

Full UK driving licence & reliable car (essential) Confidence driving in rural areas and country lanes A caring, dependable nature and resilience for rural care Comfort using a smartphone for rotas and care notes Right to work in the UK (we cannot provide sponsorship)
