Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in the community. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed. Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support residents with dementia care by using appropriate communication techniques and activities that stimulate cognitive function. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health status to nursing staff or case management. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for all residents.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or nursing home setting is preferred. Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration is advantageous. Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Ability to manage case files and implement care plans effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
