Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and developing athletes or participants through structured training programmes. This role offers an opportunity to foster teamwork, improve individual skills, and promote a positive sporting environment. The Coach will play a vital part in inspiring confidence and encouraging personal growth among participants of all ages and abilities.

Duties

Plan and deliver training sessions tailored to the skill levels and needs of participants Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their technique and performance Organise team practices, drills, and competitive events in accordance with organisational guidelines Motivate and encourage participants to achieve their personal bests Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all activities Maintain equipment and ensure the training environment is clean and safe Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork Monitor progress and maintain records of participant development

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, ideally within a recognised organisation or club Strong knowledge of the specific sport or activity being coached Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others Ability to adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential for all roles; willingness to undertake training is appreciated

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.00 per hour
