We are looking for a coach to join our expanding community programme. Based in
North East Hertfordshire, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to exhibit their coaching abilties to enable young people to realise their full potential. We use sport as a catalyst to improve physical skills, and implement 'The
Crows Way' values that will encourage positive life skills.
Our schools delivery will be across our schools in North East Herts, South Cambs & Harlow
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate fantastic coaching ability to a variety of young people, and have an open mindset to learn and understand the importance of our values.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
Delivery of all RTFC Community
To ensure Safeguarding is adhered to programmes including keeping personal DBS,
Safeguarding and First Aid
To support on the expansion and qualifications are up to date. sustainability of our School Sport
Programme.
To provide reports and invoice information as requested by finance
Work in a range of community settings, department. ensuring programmes meet the needs of participants. To ensure the quality control of coaching sessions and RTFC equipment.
Proactively explore new opportunities for RTFC to expand its work within the
To support on first team match days education sector. where required.
To support with RTFC administration as required.
To liaise with Schools concerning RTFC day to day operations.
To plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate coaching sessions.
Essential Desirable
Level 2 NGB sport coaching award. Leadership of a community project or an area of school development.
Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle. Knowledge of Royston and the surrounding area.
Have excellent organisational and planning skills.
An understanding of child protection and safeguarding children regulations and DBS requirements.
Experience of working to performance targets.
Being able to plan and deliver high quality sessions.
