We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Community Consultant Paediatrician to join our Community Child Health service in Hillingdon.

This post is for a Consultant Paediatrician in Community Child Health and Neurodisability, with the opportunity to take up the role as lead for Safeguarding, SEND and sensorineural hearing loss. You will work closely with other paediatric colleagues to provide safeguarding, (including child protection and Looked after children) and neurodisability services.
Other areas of special interest are encouraged where they are consistent with the department's responsibilities to deliver and develop services, in alignment with the Trust strategy and vision. You will share the overall clinical responsibility with the other community paediatricians to provide the highest standard of medical paediatric care for our patients.
You will be expected to work within the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive community paediatric service within the Community Child Health service, covering responsibilities related to Clinical Activities (e.g. consultant-led pathways and clinics, triage/screening of referrals, clinical supervision to trainees, MDT clinical discussions or meetings, Child protection medical assessments; Teaching (e.g. departmental teaching, teaching of paediatric trainees rotating within training posts, medical or other clinical students, regional teaching meetings), Management and leadership (e.g. QI and service development, clinical governance, Educational and Management supervision).
