We are currently looking for a Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our dynamic, friendly Dietetic team who are patient-focused and thrive on providing quality care.

JOB SUMMARY
The Community Dietetic Assistant Practitioner will suppo rt the Dietetic Adult and Child Community Teams within Bromley and Bexle y. The Nutrition a nd Dietetic department includes provision of a home enteral feed service, management of oral nutritional supplements (ONS) for patients in care homes, their own homes and in a clinic setting.
To support the Dietitian in delivery of high level , quality care and evidence - based interventions in line with local and national guidance
To support Dietetic intervention in both autonomous and multidisciplinary scenarios
To plan, provide and evaluate nutritional interventions within a framework laid down by the Dietitian, in group and individual settings
To supervise/support identified assistants and students
To undertake administrative duties as required
To manage a caseload, including self- directed planning and time management
To support with clinical triage
Contribute to the on-going development of the Assistant Practitioner role
Dietetics Team members work with other agencies and other health professionals to promote diet, nutrition and health through health promotion initiatives, campaigning, education and training.

Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
