This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Strategy & Delivery Team within the Prevention and Inclusion Service at Newport City Council.



We are looking to recruit x1 part time post within the team. The post will be working to the set objectives as per the JD.

x1 PT Community Engagement & Delivery Officer (16hrs)



The successful candidates will be part of an integrated team, working in partnership with all local services. Developing provisions and delivering services aligned with the needs of children, young people and families in Newport.



We are looking to recruit an individual who is passionate about empowering individuals and communities and have experience in planning, leading, organising and evaluating projects. Having strong communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and organisations.



We are looking for someone who is a good listener and enjoys working with people. Someone who is a team player but able to work on their own initiative, and able to work flexibly and manage a busy schedule of meetings, sessions and events, some of which may be in the evenings or at weekends.
