Job Purpose



The Community Engagement & Marketing Lead will work closely with the Branch Development Manager to deliver the marketing plan, which focuses on increasing awareness, developing community engagement and building memberships. They will also establish key relationships and partnerships with Leicestershire businesses and other organisations. Flexible hours, mostly daytime with some evenings, to be agreed. Remote in Leicestershire or within easy travel distance for regular meetings and events across the county.

Key accountabilities:



1) Take ownership of the marketing plan and work with both the Board and other team members to deliver and continuously improve it, including:

Leading digital and social media marketing for the Branch focused on driving awareness of our charitable activities for both members and Leicestershire communities Delivering member and supporter engagement events across the County and through online webinars Producing measurable digital and print campaigns, to increase impact and memberships Delivering regular member and supporter communications, including seasonal newsletters
2) Develop relationships with local businesses to establish corporate partnerships in line with the strategy

3) Establish working partnerships with other relevant charitable organisations and work together to create regular, inspiring, community events

4) Update and improve the CRM and other marketing systems, focused on growing our supporter base

5) Continually expand knowledge of the matters that affect the local Countryside

About you



You have a passion for the Countryside and natural spaces. You are creative, analytical, organised and well presented.

You have a proven, professional, background in marketing where you have been able to demonstrate:

creative approaches to communication and content delivery a strategic and analytical mindset, using data to create improvement systems strong communications skills with an advanced level of English language
You've had wide exposure within your marketing roles that will have included:

social media management writing compelling copy for both web and print (also adapting for SEO) traditional and digital advertising CRM management Creating graphics (Photoshop or Canva) delivering webinars email comms (Mailchimp etc) MS Office / Google Docs / Spreadsheets
You likely also have experience of:

developing commercial or working partnerships with organisations delivering in person and webinar presentations matters affecting local countryside working with charities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00 per hour
