Job Summary

The Community Engagement Officer will design and deliver outreach activities to strengthen the company's community relationships. They will coordinate local sponsorships, events, and public campaigns promoting safe and accessible transport as well as healthy and delicious food delivery for all.

Detailed Responsibilities

Represent Portsoy Taxis at local events, fairs, and community groups.
Develop and deliver programs to help elderly or vulnerable customers use our new app and services.
Gather community feedback and act as a liaison to communicate this to the management team.
Develop partnerships with local charities and community organizations.
Organize community-focused events and initiatives sponsored by Portsoy Taxis.
Create simple, accessible guides and communications for non-digital users.

Essential & Desirable Skills/Qualifications

Essential:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- A passion for community work and deep empathy for diverse needs.

- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Desirable:

- Experience in a community outreach, charity, or public-facing role.

- Experience in journalism/news reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,100.00-37,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
