Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist? We're looking for an experienced CES Therapist to join our Adult Care and Support team, leading and driving continuous improvement of Solihull Council's community equipment service. You will be the go-to expert for clinical advice, equipment provision, and service development.
As CES Therapist, you will:
Lead clinical oversight for community equipment requests
Support prescribers to ensure safe, cost-effective solutions
Develop policies and training for health and social care practitioners
Manage equipment reviews, triage referrals, and oversee stock utilisation
You will have:
A degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
HCPC registration
Experience in multidisciplinary community working
Strong clinical reasoning and risk management skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Physically able to handle equipment including hoists and mobility aids
