Job Description

You will deliver care in accordance with national and local priorities, policies, procedures, and guidelines and as delegated by the Registered Nurses within the District Nurse Team.You will be required to work without direct supervision to perform a range of health care assistant activities in the community setting for patients at home where the health and wellbeing of the individual would be compromised by travel. Health Care activities will include venepuncture, wound dressings, blood glucose monitoring, insulin Administration, continence reassessments, ordering and managing stock items.
