Job Introduction

The Dormston Centre, a dynamic dual-use facility within Dormston School, sprang to life in April 2000 thanks to the support of The National Lottery and Sport England. Featuring a large Sports Hall, a Floodlit Synthetic Pitch, and a purpose-built 350-seat Theatre, the Centre, alongside other school amenities, actively drives Arts, Sports, and Adult Education in North Dudley. We're dedicated to providing exceptional facilities at accessible prices in a welcoming space, empowering local individuals to hire, host, participate, and engage in a wide array of exciting activities.

Casual Community Learning Tutor

Do you have a unique talent, a fascinating hobby, or valuable life experience you'd love to share, but need the freedom of flexible, part-time work?
The Dormston Centre is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to join our team of Casual LearningTutors. This is the perfect opportunity to contribute to your community and inspire others, all while working around your existing commitments.
We are looking for tutors to deliver workshops, a series of evening or weekend classes, sharing your knowledge and expertise with others in our community.

We're looking for individuals with expertise in (but not limited to):Arts & Crafts (e.g., knitting, sewing, textiles, painting, pottery, jewellery making) Hobbies & Interests (e.g., gardening, local history, calligraphy, photography, music) Practical Skills (e.g., basic DIY, computer skills, cooking, languages) Health & Wellbeing (e.g., gentle exercise, yoga, Pilates) And much more! If you have a skill to share, we want to hear from you!
