Newport City Council is looking to recruit Community Learning Tutors to join our team delivering high quality education opportunities to residents across the City.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced ESOL tutors with a PGCE; Cert Ed; CELTA or, relevant teaching qualification. The service is continually developing the new programme offer and there will be further opportunities to tutors who are able to work flexibly across our subject range.
The posts will deliver the following classes throughout the 2025-2026 academic year and is offered on a fixed-term basis to 31 August 2026.
1 x ESOL POST (16 hours weekly)
Monday & Thursday 09.30-11.30
Monday & Thursday 12.00-14.00
Tuesday & Friday 09.30-11.30
Tuesday & Friday 12.00-14.00
