Support Adults to Live Life Their Way
Do you want a role where you can make a genuine, lasting impact? At Capability Scotland, we help adults with disabilities live independently in their own homes and communities — and we do it differently.
Unlike traditional homecare roles, our visits are typically four hours or more, giving you the time to build meaningful relationships and truly support individuals to thrive.
We're looking for dedicated Community Living Assistants to join our West of Scotland Housing Support & Care at Home Services, supporting customers across Glasgow, Renfrewshire, and East Renfrewshire.
What You'll Do
As a Community Living Assistant, you'll provide hands-on support tailored to each individual's needs. This includes:
Assisting with personal care, dressing, medication, and communication
Supporting meals and daily routines
Accompanying individuals to college, appointments, and social activities
Helping customers engage in recreational and leisure pursuits that matter to them
You'll work one-to-one or two-to-one depending on customer needs, supporting adults in their homes and in the wider community to live life to the fullest.
What You Bring
Experience in supporting adults with disabilities in a home or community setting is essential
A flexible, empathetic, and person-centred approach
A manual driving licence (for community trips and outings)
Ability to work rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends
Please note: Remaining vacancies are gender-specific due to intimate care requirements (female only) - Schedule 9 Part 1 (1)(1)(a) of the Equality Act 2010 applies
