Abingdon Salvation Army is looking for a Community Manager to administer the day-to-day operational running and development of the Addiction Recovery Community Programme in Abingdon, which will include a three-bedroom, on-site supported accommodation project. Key Responsibilities: Abingdon Salvation Army is developing an integrated supported housing project for people in abstinent-based recovery. You will provide one to one and group support, build relationships, assist motivation for change and continuing abstinence and work towards life-changing outcomes. The successful applicant will augment the community integration ethos currently practiced in our daily programme by our local leadership team congregants and other users of our services. You will oversee the running of the supported housing programme including administrative duties relating to housing benefit, support planning and risk assessments. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

  • A level-3 qualification in a related field (or willingness to work towards)
