Location:

Tramshed Tech, Palace Swansea

Hours:

Full Time (40 hours per week)

Salary:

28,000 - 30,000

*This is a temporary maternity cover role, with duration to be confirmed - however, there may be opportunities to continue working with Tramshed Tech.



Lead Swansea's Dynamic Entreprenurial Community



Are you passionate about building thriving communities and creating meaningful connections? We're looking for an experienced Community Manager to lead our Swansea operations and drive engagement across our vibrant tech ecosystem.

As our Community Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our community strategy - from developing member relationships to executing events that spark innovation and collaboration across our network.

Reporting to:

Group Community Manager

What You'll DoMember Relations & Experience



Onboard new members with engaging tours and comprehensive service explanations

Develop strong, lasting relationships with members to understand their evolving needs

Resolve member inquiries and issues promptly with exceptional service standards

Collect and analyse member feedback to continuously enhance the community experience

Community Engagement & Events



Plan and execute workshops, networking sessions, and social gatherings that drive connection

Encourage collaboration and interaction among members across different sectors

Promote a positive, inclusive community culture that supports innovation

Work with the Front of House team on major events and projects that drive business growth

Strategic Growth & Sales Support



Actively recruit new members and manage comprehensive onboarding processes

Support the Front of House team in retaining existing members and attracting new tenants

Implement sales strategy and identify growth opportunities as guided by Sales team

Collaborate with marketing team to promote spaces and attract new members

Space Management & Operations



Ensure coworking spaces are well-maintained, operational, and welcoming

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and facility improvements

Manage space bookings, desk assignments, and optimal space utilisation

Handle membership agreements, payments, and billing administration

Networking & Partnership Development



Collaborate with local businesses and organisations to expand our network

Build strategic partnerships that benefit our community and drive business objectives

Represent Tramshed Tech at external events and industry gatherings

A Typical Day Might Include:



Leading a new member tour and explaining how our community can support their business goals

Facilitating connections between members who could collaborate on exciting projects

Planning an upcoming workshop series with industry experts

Meeting with local business leaders to explore partnership opportunities

Analysing member engagement metrics and identifying improvement opportunities

Supporting a networking event alongside the Front of House team

Resolving member queries and ensuring exceptional service delivery

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience

in community management, customer service, or hospitality

Exceptional communication skills

with natural relationship-building abilities

Strategic mindset

with strong organisational and multitasking capabilities

Genuine enthusiasm

for building and nurturing thriving communities

Technical proficiency

with office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)

Social media management experience

is advantageous

Bachelor's degree

or equivalent experience preferred

Passion for tech/startup culture

and understanding of entrepreneurial environments

Additional Responsibilities:



Provide cover when needed across sites

Assist with onsite events and special projects

Attend training and company meetings as required

Undertake additional reasonable duties as needed

Conduct all work in accordance with Health & Safety policies

Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free working environment

Raise any health and safety concerns immediately with management
