About the role:




We're looking for a freelance Community Manager to support one of our brands at the weekend, engaging with culture-led, trending content across TikTok and Instagram. You'll help ensure the brand shows up authentically in relevant conversations beyond its own channels, with a sharp eye on trends, tone of voice, and social-first culture.


This role covers 3 hours total across Saturday and Sunday, keeping the brand active and responsive over the weekend.

The job



Proactive Engagement



Actively comment on trending content across social platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok Conduct daily searches for brand-related content and keywords to spot engagement opportunities, including active campaigns Monitor and engage with user-generated content (UGC) and influencer posts Reshare relevant TikTok content to amplify reach and community involvement Adjust keyword searches in line with ongoing marketing campaigns or brand sponsorships

Reactive Engagement



Take part in daily content sweeps to identify and flag real-time moments for brand engagement Work closely with the social creative team to reshare approved UGC on Instagram Stories Jump on viral trends and conversations to keep the brand culturally relevant and top-of-mind

Social Listening



Monitor social channels for potential issues, including negative sentiment or emerging risks Flag and escalate any concerning comments or content to the appropriate internal teams promptly

What we are looking for



A genuine passion for social media, with a deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, culture, and tone of voice Proven experience in community management, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging, real-time copy that resonates with diverse audiences Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and a flair for writing with personality Proactive and confident in managing a brand voice, adapting tone of voice across platforms Experience in proactive and reactive crisis management within social communities, including escalation where needed.
