We are excited to expand our CAMHS Duty team and are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced mental health nurse/practitioner to join us. If you're passionate about supporting young people with complex mental health needs, this is a great opportunity for personal and professional growth.

We are looking for someone who has:

Understanding of the complex needs and risks faced by young people.

We offer a supportive induction and a welcoming team environment, and look forward to receiving your application!

Reporting into the Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Manage your own caseload, conducting initial and comprehensive assessments, especially for those presenting high risk or experiencing rapid mental health deterioration.

Consultation calls to support young people awaiting initial assessments and professionals needing referrals.

Rapid response appointments for high-risk young people, offering follow-up support

Help develop care plans in collaboration with young people, including the views of families/carers, where appropriate.
