We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Mental Health Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs within the community, promoting physical and mental health, positive wellbeing and daily living skills.

Outline of Duties



Provide support and assistance to individuals who are reintegrating into the community. Prompt with daily activities such as self care, medication, all aspects of daily living skills. May include sleep-in duties. Support in educational settings or community programmes, fostering social interaction and inclusion. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to work within personalised care plans. Monitor health conditions and report any concerns or changes in behaviour or wellbeing. Assist with organising community activities or programmes aimed at improving health outcomes. Be able to provide first aid if required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members. Report to management as required

Outline Requirements



Enhanced DBS check is essential Experience working with individuals who have experience enduring mental ill health is essential. Ability to supervise and prompt medication safely following prescribed protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work empathetically with diverse populations. Proof of experience and qualifications relating to support within Mental Health Service Certification or training related to medication administration or patient care is a plus. A valid driver's licence is preferred for travel within the community with business insurance. Compassionate attitude, organisational skills, and a commitment to supporting individuals' independence and wellbeing. Pay: From 24,960.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
