Dereham with regular travel across the region


Work pattern:

21 hours per week to include occasional weekends at least one every 4 weeks


Salary:

Up to 16,479.70 per year


Contract:

Permanent


This role requires an enhanced DBS check (including the Children's Barred List)

Responsibilities of our

Community Operations Volunteer Team Leader:




promote and co-ordinate volunteering for the centre and within the local community develop contacts internally and externally e.g., with volunteers, employees, and the wider Volunteering Department recruit, train, schedule and support a team of diverse volunteers to enhance the smooth running of the centre and make a positive impact within the community

About the Community Operations team:




Community Operations is responsible for the delivery of all of Cats Protection's cat facing services It conducts these services through 31 Cat Centres and over 205 Branches and Community Volunteer Teams Community Operations helped over 191k cats in 2014 and helped neuter over 250k cats in the last 18 months The team consists of up to 2000 people, including around 200 employees at our Cat centres and up to 3000 volunteers

What we're looking for in our

Community Operations Volunteer Team Leader:




a manual or automatic driving license is essential as travel in the region is required proven team leader/supervisory experience a self-starter with good organisational skills and ability to take own initiative experience of initiating and planning projects dedicated people person with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally understanding of volunteerism is a must!
