We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Bethnal Green, London, E2.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

We are looking for someone that can cover shifts 09:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday, on a 45 hour per week contract, with the occasional Saturday to help cover annual leave.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, including compounding where necessary. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosage, and administration. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or in a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and pharmaceutical terminology. Previous UK community Pharmacy experience is a must Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
