The Salvation Army Chalk Farm Corps is a busy Church and Community Centre within the vibrant borough of Camden. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Community Programme Assistant to assist with the operational delivery of programmes and initiatives to support the successful delivery of mission to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of community programmes and activities within the Corps and local community to support the successful delivery of mission Demonstrate both a professional and caring manner when interacting with programme participants to create a welcoming and supportive environment Fulfil any relevant administration processes to ensure that accurate records are maintained Assist the development of volunteers to ensure that they contribute successfully to the programmes and activities

The successful candidate will have:

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with programme participants and colleagues (A,I) A good level of English - both spoken and written - and numeracy required to enable you to fulfil all duties of the role (A,I) Basic level experience of working with software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email programmes (A,I) The ability and willingness to work within and be empathic with the Christian ethos and values of The
