Community Protection Co Ordinator (12m Ftc)

High Wycombe, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting communities and helping to resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB)? We're excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a Community Safety Co-Ordinator to join our established Community Safety team. This role plays a vital part in delivering an outstanding ASB service to our residents, working closely with Community Safety Officers and other colleagues across the business.

As the first point of contact for ASB reports, you'll assess risk, agree action plans, and ensure customers are kept informed throughout. You'll manage a caseload of low-risk ASB cases, attend joint visits, and support the team with administrative duties and service improvement initiatives. If you're someone who thrives on helping others, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for ASB reports via phone, email, app, or online. Assess risk levels, agree initial action plans, and allocate cases for onward management. Manage the ASB inbox and handle inbound/outbound calls with residents. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring residents feel heard and supported. Maintain accurate records and request relevant evidence to support case resolution. Attend joint visits with Community Safety Officers and liaise with residents on preferred outcomes. Respond to correspondence in line with our Customer Care Standards and brand guidelines. Support the team with routine administrative tasks and contribute to service improvement reporting.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a willingness to learn about ASB and community safety. You'll need to be confident in managing competing priorities, making decisions, and working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.

Experience in a customer-facing role within a regulated environment is preferred, as is knowledge of ASB or a desire to develop expertise in this area. You should be comfortable using IT systems and have a proactive, solution-focused approach to your work.

Why Join Us?

While this role is offered as a fixed-term contract, in a business of our size and with the transformation we're undergoing, there's potential for extension or other opportunities to arise. Many of our talented colleagues began their journey with Paradigm in temporary or interim roles and have gone on to build successful careers here. Even if a longer-term opportunity doesn't materialise, you'll gain valuable experience that will enhance your employability in this and related fields.
