Community Sports Coach
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Community Sports Coach to deliver across all of our programmes which will include weekly sessions, holiday sports camps, soccer schools and more. Further opportunities to lead and progress across all of our programmes.
Successful candidate(s) will be required to lead, assist, plan & deliver high quality/fun football / sports sessions for young children.
Part time hours: 4-18 hours a week plus more if candidate exceeds in their role.
Hourly rate: Min wage - 20.00p/h dependent on qualifications/experience
Location: Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Tregaron and other Ceredigion / Mid Wales areas.
Essential
:- Availability throughout the school holidays and weekends
- Availability within after school hours (3:15-6:00pm)
- Experience working with children & delivering sports sessions
- Confidence in leading a group
- NGB level 1 qualification e.g. FAW Leaders Award
- First Aid qualification
- UK Drivers license and/or own transport
Desirable
:- 2 Years coaching experience
- Current DBS and Safeguarding (will be provided if not present)
- NGB level 2 qualification OR level 1 in more than one sport
- Experience in planning multiple sports sessions
- Welsh Speaking
