We are looking for care support workers to join our domiciliary care team within the
HOLSWOTHY/BRADWORTHY locality
. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This role involves working closely with service users, assisting them with daily activities, and promoting independence while fostering a safe and supportive environment.
This is such a rewarding vocation. We believe in giving our service users adequate time to support them which ensures quality care and support is given and you have real time to spend with individuals supporting them in there own homes.
Responsibilities
Assist service users with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor service users for any side effects or changes in condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, fostering positive relationships.
Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Engage in patient care activities that promote physical and mental health.
Applicant would need a full driving license and have use of a car
or
if based in
Bradworthy
we would consider a walker.
Requirement to work
alternate weekends
on a shared rota basis.
The position would also need to include
Tuesday evenings
and every other
Friday evening
. Other hours/ working days are open for negotiation.
WE OFFER:-
12.58/hour weekday and 15.28/hour weekends for level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
Full uniform including tunic's, trousers, jacket and ruck sack.
Each staff member will be provided with a handheld tablet

Requirements
Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and patient care practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Relevant qualifications in healthcare or social care would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
