Community Support Worker (No Personal Care)

Part time position available - ideally 8 - 25 hours per week. Will need to work Mondays and Fridays. This would suit someone looking for part time hours. Hours and days can be discussed.

Car driver is essential.

'Here to Help' Platinum Services Ltd are looking to recruit new team members to support service users in Leeds. We specialise in supporting adults with mental health, dementia and learning disabilities in their own homes or in residential homes.

We believe in spending quality time with service users to support and empower them to live independently. The average visit time is for two hours, this time is spent helping to maintain their home, support with meal preparation, help with phone calls, attending appointments, shopping and relationship building. There is no personal care involved in this role.

Previous experience would be ideal but is not essential, a warm heart, a cheery smile and a listening ear are key in this position. We pride ourselves on delivering support with passion and enthusiasm and are looking for new team members who are passionate about helping others. Full training will be provided along with ongoing support.

Candidates will need to have their own car to travel between calls and to escort service users to appointments etc. Mileage money and travel time is paid between jobs and when taking service users out.

Working hours will fall between 0900 - 1800 Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work. Schedules can be discussed and where possible we will accommodate your availability.

Hourly rate is 12.50 per hour, where eligible you will be enrolled into our pension scheme. A mobile phone allowance is also paid.
