Position Overview

:
As a Taxi Driver with 247 Cars, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to their destinations in a safe, timely, and comfortable manner. You will represent the company positively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and promoting a professional image.

Key Responsibilities

:

Safely operate a taxi and provide transportation services to passengers. Pick up passengers from designated locations and follow the best routes to their destinations. Collect fares and provide change as needed, ensuring accurate fare calculations. Assist passengers with luggage and ensure a comfortable ride. Always maintain a clean and presentable vehicle. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and yourself. Provide excellent customer service, greeting passengers with a friendly attitude and maintaining professionalism throughout the ride. Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues to management in a timely manner. Keep track of daily logs and payment receipts. Ensure timely reporting of any incidents, accidents, or traffic violations as per company protocol.

Qualifications

:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a driver or in customer service is a plus. Strong knowledge of local streets, neighbourhoods, and landmarks. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional. Background check and driving record check required. Taxi badge with Wolverhampton, Walsall & Birmingham Required
