HUMAIN - 3D TRAINEE JUNIOR RIGGER

Humain are a modern VFX / CG company working with high profile clients on cutting edge digital humans for video games. To help us grow and adapt to this ever-changing world, we are looking for a dynamic and versatile 3D Trainee Junior Rigger.
Founded in 2016, Humain have worked on Call of Duty, Halo, Diablo II Resurrected, Saints Row and many others.

Placement Description
This role will provide experience and insight into what it\xe2\x80\x99s like to be a rigger within the video game industry. You will become part of a team whose mission is to address any rigging requirements across all of Humain\xe2\x80\x99s AAA productions and research and development. The rigging team are responsible for creating photorealistic, high quality 3D organic animation to be used in video game production. Members of the team must be able to follow direction well and complete work in an efficient manner.

Roles and responsibilities of the Rigging Team that you will be part of:

  • Create complex, film-quality, 3D organic rigs to a project\xe2\x80\x99s specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with other riggers to ensure consistency and accuracy of animated designs.
  • Able to take direction and respond to changes in feedback.
  • Work within studio best practices, follow guidelines, and keep scenes clean and organized.
  • Manage time and resources to meet weekly targets.
  • Utilise multitasking ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications of the Rigging team typically include:
  • Technical and artistic innovation will be mandatory to reach the level of quality requested.
  • Working knowledge of Maya.
  • Strong programming skills in a scripting language.
  • Understanding of acting techniques, cinematography, and interactive storytelling
  • Understanding of movement of limbs, the effect of weight, and the behaviour of skin and flesh
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • We will require a reel or body of work demonstrating rigging skills.
