A prestigious international law firm is seeking a

Mid-Level Competition Associate

to join its award-winning

Antitrust/Competition team

in London. This is a

permanent, full-time position

offering an excellent opportunity to work on high-value, complex UK and EU competition matters within one of the most respected transatlantic practices.

About the Department:


The firm's Competition and Antitrust practice handles matters involving UK/EU and other non-U.S. antitrust, cartel, and merger control laws. The team operates seamlessly across five European offices as an integrated group, providing comprehensive legal support without jurisdictional boundaries. The firm's European competition practice has been widely recognised with multiple awards, including European Competition Team of the Year and Transatlantic Antitrust Team of the Year.

The Role:


The successful candidate will join a growing and dynamic London-based team that forms part of the firm's global antitrust network. The group focuses on

high-value, complex UK and EU antitrust and competition cases

, and associates are encouraged to take on substantial responsibility early, including direct advocacy opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:



Advising on UK and EU antitrust and competition law matters, including merger control, investigations, and enforcement. Supporting large-scale, cross-border competition matters for international clients. Conducting legal research, drafting submissions, and preparing complex documentation. Collaborating with global teams across multiple jurisdictions. Managing casework independently and demonstrating proactive engagement in client matters.

Candidate Requirements:



3-5 years' post-qualification experience in UK competition law, or equivalent experience in a similar common law jurisdiction. Strong technical knowledge of antitrust and competition matters. Excellent written communication, drafting, and analytical skills. High academic achievement and the ability to handle significant responsibility. Collaborative approach and initiative in managing complex cases.
