Senior Competition Lawyer - Top Tier UK Firm (Outside London)
Location: Edinburgh or Bristol
PQE: 6+ (flexible for strong candidates with 4+ PQE)

A prestigious UK law firm is seeking an experienced Competition Lawyer to join its highly ranked and dynamic team. This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the leading practices in the field, known for its commercial acumen, collaborative culture, and commitment to excellence.
The Role
You will advise on a wide range of UK and EU competition law matters, including:

Merger control and foreign investment reviews
Cartel investigations and abuse of dominance cases
Market studies and regulatory investigations
Compliance strategies, audits, and training
Commercial agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances

You'll work closely with clients across regulated sectors, providing strategic and practical advice that supports their commercial goals.
What We're Looking For

Qualified solicitor (SRA registered) with significant experience in competition law
Ideally 6+ years PQE, though strong candidates with 4+ years will be considered
A postgraduate qualification in competition law is advantageous but not essential
Strong analytical skills and a client-focused approach
