About The Company

Liberty Private Care

was founded by husband and wife team, Andrew and Fiona Key in 2019 when Fiona was unable to find the standard of care that she wanted for her own mother. Together, Fiona and Andrew have more than 75 years nursing and care experience and have worked in the NHS, for care agencies, residential care and nursing homes, and also run a successful homecare company in north-west England.

At Liberty Private Care we provide care that bridges the gap between traditional home care and nursing by giving our carers enhanced training above the norm, including RESTORE2 so that they can take observations for their clients if there are any concerns about them. We've also proactively worked with local and national bodies to improve care standards through innovation and training.

Andrew worked closely with organisations to help create and define the 'Six Steps End of Life Accreditation' for community care and Liberty Private Care earned this accreditation from the Countess Mountbatten Hospice in Southampton. We are one of the top 20 home care providers.

Company Culture

Liberty Private Care has always been managed by people with hands-on experience in the social and healthcare sector. All the carers have a minimum of 2 years previous care experience before they start working for Liberty Private Care and nearly all the carers have an NVQ 2 or higher.

Alongside the quality of carers that we provide, our management team also provide a concierge service, going the extra mile in helping our clients and their families with things. This is particularly useful where family members don't live locally or where families are time poor.

We pride ourselves on giving our team the knowledge and training to develop new skills to achieve qualifications. In exchange, we offer the most competitive rates in the region, plus pension and recruitment bonuses.
