About the Role:


You will be working closely with an individual who requires 1:1 care in their own home, supporting their physical and emotional well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.


Key Responsibilities:


Providing

tracheostomy care

and suctioning, in line with clinical protocols Monitoring respiratory function and identifying signs of distress Personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting Medication administration and PEG feeding (if applicable) Supporting mobility and repositioning to prevent pressure areas Emotional support and companionship Accurate record keeping and communication with the wider healthcare team
Requirements:


Proven experience with

tracheostomy care

(clinical competency required) Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Enhanced

DBS check

(or willingness to undergo one) Flexibility with shifts and a commitment to continuity of care
Requires drivers license and own car
