About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated and skilled
Complex Care Assistant
to join our growing team in Dudley. This role involves providing tailored one-to-one support for a client with complex health and social care needs. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and values-led care.
You'll play a vital role in maintaining the client's health, safety, and emotional well-being, while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personal care in a respectful, sensitive, and person-centred way
Carry out specialist clinical tasks (e.g. PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, seizure management) under supervision
Administer and record medication accurately in line with policy and training
Support with mobility, repositioning, and use of specialist equipment
Assist with daily living activities including meals, household tasks, and community engagement
Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or behaviour to the Clinical Lead
Promote emotional well-being through compassionate, relationship-centred care
Ensure all care aligns with Wraparound Care 24's values, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory standards
Contribute to team handovers, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Skills & Experience
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs (e.g. neurological conditions, spinal injuries, learning disabilities)
Confidence in clinical tasks such as tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, catheter care, or ventilation support
Excellent observation, communication, and documentation skills
Reliable, patient, and proactive with a genuine passion for care
Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Qualifications
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Up-to-date Mandatory and Complex Care Training (can be provided)
Valid Enhanced DBS Check
Full UK driving licence (desirable, depending on client location)
