PLEASE NOTE - We have packages in Hull and surrounding areas. This post requires some experience within COMPLEX care for adults AND children. We provide assistance to Adults and Children with tracheostomies, PEGs, ventilators, unmanaged complex conditions. Full training is provided with on going competencies.



We are a provider of excellent home care within Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. Our company seeks experienced professionals to join our growing team of Complex Home Care providers. The care worker will be responsible for providing a range of healthcare to service users, including administering medications and assisting with hygiene-related tasks. A Healthcare Assistant works with a team of healthcare professionals in order to provide high level services to service users, and the successful candidate will have a desire to help others, enjoy working with the public and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include:



Administer medication and treatments. Provide personal care. Follow detailed support plans and risk assessments. Manage complex conditions safely and PEGs, Tracheostomies, VNS, Ventilators etc. Work alongside team leaders as required. Communicate with health and social care professionals. Assist in rehabilitation programs. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Candidates must have a

minimum

of 6 months experience in Home and/or Residential care. Candidates ideally will have worked in complex care previously and have some experience with cough assist, non invasive ventilators, epilepsy management, PEG, suction and tracheostomies.

As well as the normal compliance requirements as a carer, you must have proof of:

National Insurance Number Right to Work in UK Proof of address Be willing to undergo a DBS check (enhanced) Proof of relevant training undertaken 2 references (last employer and character)
You must be willing to undertake any training required and show commitment to your role as a carer and advocate for vulnerable individuals. Working in homecare requires individuals to be of good character that will respect the environment they are working in and consider a whole families needs and wishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
