About the Role
Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our sociable 20s male client living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He requires a patient carer willing to spend time getting to know him and to support him with elements of his social care. He has a great sense of humour and loves meeting new people. He has an avid interest in football and playing games on his Wii. His other enjoyments are walks in the local community and listening to music.
Our clients requirements:
Personal care
Moving and handling
Medication administration
Epilepsy support
An understanding of Dystonia is desirable
G&J-PEG (training will be given)
Maintaining a safe and tidy environment
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced care professional who meets the following criteria:
Previous care experience (essential)
Full UK driving licence to drive a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV)
A caring, patient, and understanding approach to working with individuals with complex care needs
Commitment to promoting independence and delivering person-centred care
