Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part time Complex Care Assistant (Must be able to drive) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

Manual care Driver*

PEG Feeding, Catheter and Epilepsy experience require*d.
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily activities, including meal preparation and feeding. Implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Foster effective communication with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for all residents. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and supporting the elderly in maintaining their quality of life.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
