Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional home care services in the community. This role is crucial in supporting our clients' daily living needs and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The position is based in Worcester, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in meal preparation and medication management. Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual client needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Document client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times. Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care assistant role or similar position is preferred. Strong understanding of care plans and home care practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle for client visits. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial. Delegation and Clinical oversight will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
