Complex Care Assistant - Waking Nights (Paediatrics)

2 waking nights per week (10pm - 8am)We are seeking an experienced and reliable
Complex Care Assistant
to provideovernight care
for an11-year-old child with complex health needs
. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night, ensuring safety, comfort, and clinical support.This is a rewarding role where you will become a valued part of a supportive family-centred care team.
Duties
Provide safe overnight care and monitoring from
10pm to 8am
. Support withpersonal care
routines. Manageseizures
and follow care protocols as required. Deliverbowel management support
. Administergastronomy / PEG feeding and medications
. Ensure the child's comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.Experience
Previous experience working with
children or young people with complex health needs
Knowledge and skills inCerebral Palsy care, seizure management, bowel management, and PEG feeding
Confident in administering medications via PEG Reliable and compassionate, with strong attention to detail Willingness to commit to2 waking night shifts per week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
