Additional Bank Cover:

About the Role

You will be supporting a young child who requires full assistance with daily living. He enjoys music, cuddles, storytime, and interactive play. We are looking for someone warm, patient, and nurturing who can build trust and bring reassurance to both the child and his family.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing personal and clinical care, including

gastrostomy care

and

medication administration

, including

rescue medication

Performing

oral and deep suctioning

as required Supporting

chest physiotherapy

and use of

Cough Assist automatic devices

Assisting with

non-invasive ventilation (NIV)

in line with care plans Delivering high-quality

pressure area care

and monitoring skin integrity Supporting and responding to

epilepsy and seizure management

, including emergency protocols Monitoring the child's condition and escalating concerns appropriately Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment Building positive, professional relationships with the child and family Following individualised care plans, clinical guidance, and risk assessments

What You'll Need:

Essential:

Some experience within a care or support role

Desirable:

Experience in complex care (not essential - full training provided)*
A kind, patient, and flexible approach Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

Full UK driving licence

(essential due to location)*
